Mon coming out
Bonsoir!
je vous écris pour vous raconter mon coming out :-)
aujourd'hui, dans le cadre de l'Ecofest et avec le Groupe MAMAN, j'ai fait une présentation sur la grossesse non assistée :-)
ça s'est bien passé, j'étais contente de ne pas être seule: avec ma nouvelle amie paxye ( http://www.paxye.com/blog/ ), on s'est partagé les interventions, et elle a pu parler de l'ANA, une belle équipe :-) Il n'y avait pas bcp de monde dans l'assistance, et j'en connaissais au moins la moitié lol
c'était qd même la première fois que je parlais de GANA devant des inconnus, j'avais qqs appréhentions qd est venu le temps des questions... il y a eu une question sur les "accouchements à problèmes", on a pu répondre ( mais p-ê pas rassurer hihi ) sans "problèmes" :-D
voilà pour le contenant, le contenu maintenant ;-)
on a parlé de notre démarche d'autonomie, qui nous était personnelle, que ce n'était pas le seul chemin valable mais que c'était le nôtre, qu'on n'était pas là pour vanter les mérites de la GANA ni pour faire un concours, mais pour témoigner de notre expérience.
j'ai parlé un peu du fait que c'est un sujet assez tabou, que même ceux qui l'ont vécu n'en parlent pas tjs volontier, que tout le monde n'est pas d'accord sur l'intérêt de médiatiser ou pas.
on a ensuite parlé de notre cheminement, raconté l'histoire de nos accouchements, les interventions iatrogènes qu'on a subies.
on a parlé de se réapproprier notre pouvoir (empowerment), plus particulièrement notre pouvoir de femme (féminisme ), de nos limites et nos peurs, de celles de notre entourage, de nos choix d'en parler ou pas, et à qui...
enfin, je pense qu'on a pas mal dit combien pour nous c'était naturel, comment ça s'inscrivait dans notre quotidien...
sinon :-) je suis dans ma dernière ligne droite, je pense que j'en ai encore pour un petit bout de temps avant la naissance, mais je commence tranquillement à me réjouir de la fête qui se prépare :-)

Noix de lavage: écologique?
« Noix de lavage »
Ne pas répéter les erreurs du passé !
On a vu arriver sur les marchés européens, depuis quelques années,
un nouveau « produit miracle » : les noix de lavage venues des Indes
qu’on utilise aussi bien en lessive qu’en savon ou shampoing…
De quoi s’agit-il ?
De noix produites par des « arbres à savon » (Sapindus Mukorossi), actuellement sauvages, dans certains états des Indes (l’Imachal Pradesh par exemple).
Une entreprise sérieuse et bien connue du commerce équitable, nous précise qu’un « collecteur » achète les noix aux paysans, après cueillette manuelle, pour les revendre à un grossiste qui va permettre de fournir la demande locale (en incorporant ces noix à des lessives chimiques).
Que les Indiens de ces états disposent ainsi d’un produit de lavage accessible, relativement écologique, fort bien.
Qu’on développe cette activité économique pour fournir un marché européen (qui n’en demande pas tant !) pose certains problèmes éthiques, économiques et sociaux autant qu’écologiques. En effet, les conséquences économiques, sociales, humanitaires locales, à très court terme sont parfaitement prévisibles :
- développement pour l’exportation d’une ressource vivrière sauvage
- mise en culture, sans nécessité locale ni régionale
- tendance à la monoculture d’exportation (type quinoa, café, thé, sucre…) et déséquilibre régional
- déperdition des ressources similaires dans les pays importateurs (la saponaire en Europe, par exemple).
- effet pervers d’une « mode », d’une « tendance » : d’autant plus que ces noix de lavage ont un résultat sensiblement éloigné de nos lessives européennes produites localement et sans danger pour l’environnement… Quand les bobo en auront assez des noix de lavage que restera-t-il aux Indiens de l’Himalaya… ? L’immigration vers le 9-3 ?
L’importation en Europe de ces noix de lavage (avec l’aberration écologique que constitue son transport) relève très exactement de la fausse « bonne » idée qu’on peut assimiler à du néo-colonialisme.
Dans cette optique de cohérence écologique, le Salon Asphodèle a été le premier à demander à ses exposants de ne pas y présenter ce produit…
NB1. Vous allez nous dire : pourquoi les noix de lavage et pas le thé ou le café ou… les capteurs solaires fabriqués en Chine. Nous répondrons : il faut bien commencer la réflexion par un bout… et tant qu’à faire ne pas reproduire les erreurs d’antan !
NB2. Nous avons appris également que la France avait, jadis, planté des arbres à noix de lavage dans ses colonies (Asie et Afrique)… Mais seul le climat des Indes donne à ces noix un relatif pouvoir lavant. Aussi lorsqu’un revendeur français tente de se justifier en précisant que ses noix à lui viennent… d’Afrique, on mesure encore plus l’effet mode du produit !

Dear Friends,
I sent the letter below to YouTube today. Unfortunately I received a form letter in response telling me I had to fill out a form on their site which in spite of numerous attempts, I have not been able to access. I could have sent a similar letter to Google, as they deleted the birth clip as well. But if I’m not able to find an address to send this to, I may just have to post it in my blog. In any case, please feel free to pass it along. And if anyone has any other ideas on how to deal with this please let me know.

Many wonderful childbirth videos have been deleted by YouTube supposedly because they violate your obscenity policies. Homebirth and natural childbirth videos are specifically being targeted, yet many are far less graphic than hospital birth videos which show close up images of vaginas being cut by doctors (episiotomies) and other interventions. Perhaps when birth is presented as a medical event it is viewed as acceptable but when it is presented as a natural, loving act between a woman, her baby and her partner it is viewed as sexual and therefore obscene.

Many of us are offended by YouTube’s policies and are considering contacting the media. I am a childbirth writer and have recently been interviewed by numerous magazines, newspapers, radio shows and TV shows including the Washington Post, Reuters International, Associated Press Television and BBC radio. I am sure that at least one of the reporters I’ve spoken with would be interested in doing a story on censorship at YouTube. In addition to childbirth videos, YouTube has also deleted videos containing footage of mothers breastfeeding their babies. I understand that there are people that find natural birth and breastfeeding offensive and no doubt they will continue to flag these videos. I have no problem with these videos being flagged, as all one has to do is click a button stating they are over 18. But I see no reason to delete them entirely. Giving birth and breastfeeding a child are NOT obscene acts. YouTube should welcome these videos with open arms, as they are helping to break down society’s fears and misconceptions about these most natural and life-affirming activities.

J'ai passé une bonne nuit!
Après deux nuits de tensions-contractions, j'ai dormi comme un bébé cette nuit! Bon ok, j'exagère, comme une femme en fin de grossesse disons! lol Enfin ça m'a suffit pour me redonner le sourire :-D
Hier soir j'étais en panique, j'ai voulu envoyer mon mari à la pharmacie, heureusement j'ai appelé avant: "vous avez des contractions madames ( sans blague?! ); non il n'y a pas de médicaments pour ça, prenez des tylenols ( ! )" Je lui parle donc du spasfon, en vente libre en France: il n'y a rien de tel ici! Et malgré toute son incompétence ( elle aurait qd même pu chercher un peu dans ses fichiers! ) , elle avait raison! Vive le Québec...
J'ai donc entrepris de fouiller dans mes boîtes à granules, je savais qu'il me restait quelques médocs allopatiques au fond... bingo! à peine périmé, mai 2007. J'ai dit à mon chum "juste de les avoir sous la main, tu vas voir je vais bien dormir!" Et j'ai eu raison hihi
C'est soit ça, soit mon couriel à ma mère pour lui ré-expliquer pourquoi je suis en colère et pourquoi je vais prendre mes distance ;-)

Con-tractions
C'est vers 2h du mat que ça se passe, je me réveille, tordue de douleurs, ça dure une heure, et ça survient toujours juste après une grosse con-trariété...
C'était la deuxième fois cette nuit, j'avais déjà moins peur que la première fois, dans la nuit du sept juillet... J'avais pleuré tout du long, suppliant bébé de rester encore au chaud...
Depuis hier j'ai eu un couriel de ma mère, deux messages sur mon répondeur, mais pas un mot d'excuse...
Je viens de m'abonner au service afficheur, je vais filtrer mes appels, mon bébé et moi méritons bien cela...
